I have been waiting patiently for this bout to become a reality. For me, this is "the fight of the year." I am sure this bout will live up to all the hype it is advertised to be. Sensationialism isn't so important to this boxing fan as is the core content of a fighter and his abilities. This fight is not about revenge for Bernard Hopkins' fau paux it is more about the subject of overdue respect.

I have not forgotten B-Hop's comment about race in reguard to his opponent this week, Joe Calzaghe. Let us remember it was B-Hop that played the race card even before there was a fight. Shame on him. ( If the tables were turned and Joe made a comment on race you know it would have been a media circus.) The media downplayed the comment as simple trash talking and choose to concentrate on both boxers abilities and talents instead.(A safe move, it would appear.)

Yes, this will be a great fight-no doubt about it. Both men are warriors, both men want to win and both men with insure their legacy with this fight, however only 1 will win. Who does the Boxing Diva pick to win? Joe Calazghe, of course, but not for the reasons that you might be assuming at this moment.

I do not want Joe Calzaghe to win simply because: I am not a fan of Bernard Hopkins or because Joe happens to be Caucasian. I predict Joe will win because he is a better boxer ( he is more versitile in the ring) because he is a better man ( strong, quiet and not needing to trash talk) and most importantly he has "class act" written all over him. That is the reason why I hope Joe Calzaghe wins and in the process knocks the lights out of Bernard Hopkins once and for all.
