Kudos to "Super" Joe Calzaghe

Shall I begin with the famous last words, "I told you so" maybe, maybe not? Even though those words are true in this case I will concentrate more on the bout between Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins. It wasn't a pretty fight and it wasn't the decisive win which most fans were looking forward to but it was a good fight never less.

For two boxers who did not seem to exactly like each other there was plenty of hugging and dancing in the ring. Hopkins did throw many good punches during the fight and Joe worked well to counter this. All in all, what matters are the judges final results.

I was extremely happy when Joe was declared the winner. (This win helped keep my prediction record in the black. 7-5) I wish Joe Calzaghe the best of luck on his next opponent and believe he has greatness written all over him. To Bernard Hopkins, you fought a good fight, you are a great boxer no one can take that away from you but Saturday night was Joe's night and that is the way it will go down in the record books.

Kudos to Joe.................................they don't call him "Super" for nothing.
