Live TV Program to Feature Super Bantamweights Alex Valdez vs. Ghana-based veteran spoiler Anyetei Laryea

WHAT: As part of Mexican Cerveza Tecate’s continued efforts to bring the power of boxing to fans across the nation, “Solo Boxeo Tecate” will be broadcasting LIVE from Chicago this week.

During the return of “Solo Boxeo Tecate” to the legendary Aragon Ballroom, boxing aficionados will have the opportunity to watch Mexican 24-year-old Alex Valdez (20-2-1, 15 KO’s) as he encounters Anyetei Laryea (17-3, 9 KO’s) from Chicago in 10 Super Bantamweights rounds. Valdez is ranked No. 4 by the WBC with 15-0-1, 10 KO’s in his last 16 fights. This will be Valdez’s third fight in the United States. Meanwhile, coming from Ghana, Laryea is the winner of the British Title on 2007 after defeating Isaac Ward (15-1-2).

Additionally, Alejandro Perez (12-0-1, 7 KO’s) from Salinas, Calif., will face Adolfo Landeros (18-10-1, 9 KO’s) from Hidalgo, Mexico in eight Super Bantamweights rounds.
