MAYWEATHER SR. TO TRAIN HATTON!

It's official. Ricky Hatton will be trained by Floyd Mayweather Sr for his fight against IBF jr welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi in Las Vegas on November 22.

Mayweather, who will be assisted by Lee Beard, will fly into Manchester later this month and oversee training at Hatton's new gym at the luxurious Village Hotel, Ashton-under-Lyne. Hatton, started his training camp for the Malignaggi at his new base on Tuesday with Beard in command for now. "At this stage of my career I am not going to change my style too much, but you are never too old to learn," stated Hatton. "I have spoken with my team and we are all sure that I'll benefit from Floyd's incredible knowledge. The fight against Malignaggi is make or break and I'm convinced this will be the best training camp I have ever had." 'The Hitman', dad and manager Ray, Beard, lawyer Gareth Williams and agent Paul Speak fly to Las Vegas at the end of next week. Ricky will meet up with Mayweather Sr and also come face to face with Malignaggi at a press conference at the MGM Grand on September 13.
