Manny "The Pac Man" Pacquiao scored a shocking second round KO over Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton putting an exclamation mark on his # 1 pound for pound status.

When the first bell rang, the starting seconds seemed to indicate an aggressive bout by both fighters, but that soon changed when Pacquiao sent Hatton to the canvas twice in the first round. Pacquiao dominated the short fight dropping Hatton for the final time in the second round when "The Pac Man" caught Hatton with a left to the chin which had Hatton down for sometime. The end came at 2:59 of the second round.

The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and attracted approximately 20,000 rowdy British fans who were all confident that Hatton would be the victor. On the other hand, Pacquiao fans, who are much more docile were quite excited for their boxing hero and celebrated well into the night.

With Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s return to the ring, do we get to look forward to a Pacquiao-Mayweather Mega Fight?
