Mayweather vs Marquez Just Days Away

On September 19, 2009 two of the greatest pound for pound fighters in the world, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez square off in a highly anticipated bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The bout had originally been scheduled for July 18, but Mayweather suffered an injury during training camp and was forced to postpone. Mayweather is coming out of retirement and is anxious to get back into the ring.

Marquez is looking forward to fighting Mayweather on September 19 which is Mexican Independence Day and is planning on a huge celebration. He is confident of a win over Mayweather.

Promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions in association with Marquez Promotions and sponsored by Tecate and Southwest Airlines, the bout is scheduled to air live on HBO pay per view beginning at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT and can be ordered for $49.95.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at www.grandgarden.com, www.ticketmaster.com or can be charged by phone by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Ticket prices are $1000, $750, $600, $300 and $150.
